About

“My art practice is deeply rooted in the Indian ethos. It seeks the sacred in the mundane and the mundane in the sacred. Gestures, symbolism and ritual form an integral part of my work. Preserving the legacy of the past and challenging the notions of the present, I identify myself as a traditional contemporist.

Through my work, I seek to celebrate the human.”
