Kathotsava

Storytelling Festival | 2019

Kathotsava, organized by the Kathalaya Trust, is a series of storytelling performances in Bangalore (India) by International artists Usifu Jalloh – percussionist, educator and teller from Sierra Leone, Geeta Ramanujam – award-winning master storyteller and trainer from India and Shereen Saif – actor, dancer and storyteller from the U.A.E.

“A three-hander, Kathotsava was mini festival where we shared tales, from the Indian and West African traditions. We made the shows oodles of fun for the audience by integrating sounds, music, dance and lots of interactions in the telling. The festival had a celebratory mood and played to packed halls.”
