The last time you bought a toy for a child, what did you buy?
Top picks would probably be stuffed toys, plastic cartoon icons and over stimulating electronic toys because we assume that’s what they’d find cool. But before you know it, they are discarded and end up in a landfill.

Would you consider wooden toys? Perhaps for babies, toddlers and even preschoolers.

What about older children? Probably not.

But think about it…they are made from safe, natural renewable material; they are more durable and repairable and because they are low tech, they encourage imaginative play (if you can engage them with it).

This brings us to the question: How can we make wooden toys cool for today’s kids?

India based digital content company Invis Multimedia thought it might be a good idea to campaign for eco-friendly wooden toys though a series of spontaneous Unboxing videos on Kidu Kidu, their YouTube channel for kids.

Let me know your thoughts, both for and against wooden toys.
